Syed Mustafa Hassan

Mustafa is an Instructional Designer at OpenDevEd with a focus on the Design/Systems Thinking approach. He is also a first-generation PhD candidate at George Mason University, USA. His research focuses on design-based research on learning and educational technologies in developing countries, especially on higher education in emergencies. He explores the interplay of culture and technology in teaching and learning and provides contextually aligned recommendations on the country’s Ed-Tech development and scale-up journeys. He avidly advocates access to education and uses his knowledge of technology to make it more accessible and equitable.
